Hi I'm back! Haha, it's the last day of exams so I'm finally free.

Another piece of good news, I got a MacBook Pro! I went through so much to get this (OTL) but really, I kind of took a loan from my mum to get this so I have to find a way to pay her back if not I feel really bad. My mum is someone who goes for 3 for $5 socks, loves fruits like watermelon and pineapple because they are cheap and huge, loves Louis Vuitton handbags but chose to get bags from Coach outlets instead, and I think she always chooses the cheaper alternative so that she can save to get us stuff. So when she agreed to get me this MacBook, imagine my bewilderment. Oh I love you mummy hahaha. But I really love her alright. So much.

Anyway, back to the pictures. I visited ReStore together with Tuanhe and Shuwen after we left Strangers' Reunion. It's a lovely and cosy cafe that also sells vintage furniture, kitchen ware like small dishes, plates and mugs and secondhand books. It's a pretty small space but I love that they carry a variety of goods, all in good quality and are not commonly carried by other furniture stores.

For the food, Tuanhe ordered an eggplant sandwich (I can't recall the exact name) as the description on the menu really made it sound like a yummy and generous sandwich. If you refer to the picture below, I guess you can see why we were disappointed. I commented that the sandwich was really dry over at Instagram, and the kind folks at ReStore actually left an apology and recommended us to request for more sauces the next time we visit. I really appreciate that they take criticism positively and aren't offended by what I said. We didn't get to try the other food items on the menu but since they are very open to changing their recipes a little according to customer's preferences, I don't think they will taste bad. The drinks, on the other hand, were pretty good. I got an Iced Tea and it's just this perfect cup of tea that quenches your thirst, refreshes you and has a nice aroma to it.
